Husband for hire

Last week, strolling down the street, I saw an interesting example of wrap advertising. “Rent a Husband” was the amusing message emblazoned on a car that passed by. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. My mind started picturing all the apparent advantages of such a service. Can you imagine being married just when it suits you? Wouldn’t that be perfect?

Dear Sir,

I need a husband on Friday 19that 18.00 to escort me to an acquaintance’s

business event. Can you please send me a quotation for a tall,

handsome man with green eyes? I will divorce him around Saturday

breakfast time at the latest.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

XX

To my disappointment they were offering a handyman who could assist with furniture assembly or re-carpeting. I haven’t googled it yet, but I assume you can “Hire a Wife” too if you need to bake an apple pie 😉

Vehicle graphics and offbeat approaches can indeed be a memorable way of creating an impact, but if the message conveyed is misleading or not adapted to your target group, it can cause disappointment and end up pushing away your potential customers.

So why don’t you just SMILE?
